We’re officially in the season of Autumn, and whilst we may have to say good-bye to the warmer weather, we don’t need to farewell our glowing skin. The cooler temperatures can have a negative effect on your skin – heaters get cranked up, there’s less moisture in the air, and our skin is exposed to a lot more wind. This can cause our skin to become dull, dry and dehydrated.

Here are our top tips in beating the cooler temperatures, and maintaining your dewy, glowy skin, year-round!

Moisturise

The change in season means it’s time to switch up your moisturiser. You’ll need to bid goodbye to your lightweight formula, for a thicker one that will provide you the extra hydration your skin requires. We recommend sebamed’s moisturising cream 75ml. This cream is rich in Vitamin E, which will protect your skin against environmental damage.

SPF

SPF is the most important part of your beauty routine all year-round. Sun damage and UV rays are a big cause of dehydrated and dull skin, so don’t forget to apply sun protection daily. Our go-to is Sun Bum.

Exfoliate

The lack of moisture in the air can cause dead skin cells to become trapped under the skin, which will make you look dull and washed-out. The best way to get rid of them is to exfoliate regularly - however don’t scrub too hard as this will only aggravate your skin.

Tan

Looking for a quick and easy fix to fake glowing skin? Enriched with antioxidants, aloe vera, cocoa butter and Vitamin E, the Bondi Sands Gradual Tanner for Face will not only have your skin feeling hydrated and nourished, but also bronzed and glowing.
